J99 was putting Xhaka in jail for wasting less time while 4-1 up than Pope did in the first half

Not sure what you meant by your comment then. My point is stop crying about decisions and make more chances and score goals. Take the refs out of it. Complaining does nothing but inculcate a victim mentality which makes the players more petulant and annoys the refs more. Which in turn makes them even less likely to rule in our favour.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Football is a low scoring sport, which means matches are often decided by small margins, whether a moment of genius, or a decision made by someone not even playing.

Bad decisions were going against us during prime-Wenger era. We know we no Henry/Bergkamp level players atm, which is why we’re suffering more now than we did then.

We still had to be head and shoulders better than the opposition back in the day to win titles, whereas Man Utd just had to be slightly better.

Let’s not try to rewrite history.

But when refs are dictacting the play how can we change? We can't stop the opponents fouling and the ref letting it go,
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They don't help. But that doesn't stop us moving the ball faster when we had possession so their fouls look more obvious. If you stand about passing sideways at a slow speed Burnley didn't really have to make any of their tactics very obvious. And it was the same for the last 2 or 3 games. Forest did the same and so did Liverpool.

If you want to be obtuse now its upto you dj. You know exactly what I said.

Every fecking club complains and so do all fans. Its not going to change where we end up in the table at the end of the season. And we ain't ever going to improve with that mentality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don’t Arsenal usually end up higher the ‘if correct decisions had been made’ league pretty much every season?

Do you honestly think there is some grand conspiracy?

It was different refs in those days. And in those days it was very much based on our lack of English players. Dein admitted as much a few times.

However now its our English players being fouled. I think its just incompetence by refs. If we start scoring again like we were a few games ago I think it will all change again.

Sky Sports WSL

Arsenal are *NOT* happy with Manchester City's opener...Eyes

The ball hit the referee and fell to a #MCFC player in the build-up - should the goal have stood?

Even in the women's game ffs

Some of you need a reality check. Arsenal suffering heavily from Covid, AFCON, stupid ref decisions in the last few games. Against Nottingham we made 9 changes.

If we would have all players on board we wouldnt have suffered that badly.

I know top 4 isnt realitic for us even with our best team because this team is young and not experienced enough. Setbacks with a young team are expected.

Different refs? Mike Riley was a ref then and somehow got promoted to head of refs now.

Just because the original American mafia bosses are dead does that there is no crime in the US?

Who is GT talking to? Totally different subject to everyone else, but he seems to be angry at someone

I want to bring in a different point. I was over the refs topic because for me it's crystal clear they facked us over not only this season.

Orbinho

Slightly underwhelming though it was, today's draw now means Arsenal are one point better off than in the equivalent fixtures last season.

He wouldn't play for our U23s. Lots of players have gone and played in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE.
Saudi Arabian clubs won't pay the wages??Ever Banega is on $200k a week. Even Bafe Gomis is on £150k a week. Saudi Arabia football is run by very rich people
----------------------------------------------------------------------
both of which are way less than what Auba is currently on at Arsenal... And like I said surely they'd need to offer him even more than his current wage to make moving there attractive.

You reckon a Saudi club would be dumb enough to offer something like 450k a week to Auba? Surely at some point even Saudi billionaires drawn a line on stupidity.

Ignore tax then
Saudi Arabia would want to get the best they can. Why did they take Bafe Gomis on ten times the wages he would get in Europe

Moving to 90 minutes away from Dubai? I am sure there is no attraction for Auba there, he only spends loads of time there now cos London is so bad.

Should've beat city ffs

Gonna sign a midfielder, gonna sign vlahovic, force the refs to let us play the CL final and win the facking lot

Love the hindsight. I remember before Auba signed a new contract people begging and whining over him signing a new contract.

Tbf auba had just won us the cup, our youngsters absolutely were not ready, and there was a big dearth in available strikers that we needed at the time.

agree Tu. At that time the uproar among Arsenal fans would have been immense if we wouldnt manage to let him sign a new contract after what happend with the Sanchez deal before.
