Hearing there’s a food poisoning outbreak at @SpursOfficial. No, i am not joking.

Gary lineker just tweeted this.

It has been denied already.

Would be funny if it were true, Spurs tried to get the game postponed, but the PL deny them because of the rule changes brought about by Spurs crying over our postponement

They will beat or draw Norwich even without some of their main players.

Pretty sure he made it clear it wasn't a group of players defined by age
Do it privately, and then you are saying they are ignoring the issues and happy with 5th

I am a fan. I am saying it openly that its mostly because of Elneny and Xhaka we lost against Newcastle. Not the kids.

I am not blaming Arteta for it because I could see that Gabriel and White were trying to push up during the game as they did try to do against Spurs as well. Which is I didn't say anything negative on Arteta after the loss. The only downside for me from Arteta is why aren't players aren't following his instructions. And who in particular is not doing that. But thats up to Arteta to decide and change in the summer. I can only judge by what we do next season if thats worked or not.

What I don't expect to see is a player blaming others. Its what Xhaka did anyway you look at it. Loaded question or not.

MA on transfer budget "It’s not only about that amount. If you see the wages that we have and we had, it’s night & day. So it’s not only about spending, it’s about what you have sold. We had 28 players and we ended up with 19 in the squad, so it’s about the total expenditure"

Some Arsenal commentators wondering whether 'not following instructions' might refer to Ramsdale going long too much?

Newcastle were pressing well in fairness. Xhaka and elneny weren't/couldn't really show for the ball in the build up areas.

Some of our players were on their last legs and especially the youngsters were disappointing against Newcastle.

And have to ask why was he going long?

Its not even a secret. Potter/Vieira/Hasenhüttl/Conte. Now even Eddie Howe.

Elneny and Xhaka disappear when pressed. Its why Arteta started playing Xhaka higher up the pitch, so that Partey is the one who receives the ball under pressure.

He looked rattled early on and kept shouting at the bench

We just couldn't get the ball to the front 4 enough. Elneny had 2 or 3 line breaking passes but that's it

It's tough when you've gotta make decisions on the field and we couldn't break the press with the players we had in MF, but I guess that's where you stick to the plan and then trust the manager to take the flack when it inevitably goes wrong

As for Xhaka, I don't think the club can truly move forward until the Xhaka era is over.

Ramsdale hasn't been at the same level since his hip injury. Coincides with Partey and Tierney being out of the team as well.

Playing out from the back requires a very cohesive effort, general rule is that you should always have 3 options so if you lose two of those who never shy away from showing then you're naturally gonna struggle if the replacements are hiding or unable to find the right space.
