Besides anything that's going on / not going on atm, that's another thing with Partey. Good though he can be, his absences effectively trashed our season - same applies to KT, in that regard.
So would we be better off with someone that might not be quite as good (yet) but be less injury prone, and more reliable?
I think we would.

I meant in style. If you want someone reliable and not very good we already have Elneny. I think it will be more difficult to find someone of similar build, coverage and passing that Partey possessed. Especially cause we haven't been really looking for that type of player. I think Lisandro was supposed to be first choice LB. Now we need a clone of Rodri.
Compare Partey and Xhaka to Eleney and Xhaka. Newcastle game really exposed the difference.
So why not instead get two all round midfield players and let them run the midfield between them?

Savic and Doucouré?
Gleison Bremer and Savic?
