I think it's partly b*llocks. As J99 says, at times it almost feels like it's harder for City to lose than win trophies.

Personally, I'd love to see us win a Cup next season. It feels like we also need to be winning something bigger though.

Arsenal are the only team in history to defeat the Premier League champions in an FA Cup final & prevent them from completing a Double.

This was in 2017, when Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1.

I'm genuinely not bothered about the league cup. A more important fixture will follow it, unless we're completely out of the running for everything via the league.

Liverpool's run this year, and United's last year, were a complete breeze until the actual final, and even then you'd expect them to win it. At least we actually had to beat city in the community shield this year
