So we need a striker a no 6 and a no 8. All starting 11 quality. Impossible.

You have to hope we get a quality Edu-replacement who can bring in a few bargains in the defensive areas of the team and all the real money spent in attacking areas. We arguably need 7 or 8 signings - we need to find the less expensive gems too.

Don't need a 6 AND an 8, Rice isn't getting dropped.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for Campos for precisely that reason. It is easier signing big money players because they have been well scouted by numerous clubs. The unknown gems who can bridge the gap between the academy and first team are just as important if we want to challenge for minor cups next season.

Zubi is one replacement, and I would want a younger MF player for the other. 30-year-olds need to play. It's harder for them to get up to pace on spot starts. Look at Sterling.

We said this last season too. Arteta doesn’t rotate so that number is too high

Neto, Tierney, Partey, Jorginho, Sterling all leaving (hopefully on a couple of them). That is 4 players needed straight away...
Zinchenko, Kiwior, Trossard all could go too.

No way are we not getting at least 7 in.

I think Olabe is the most likely because of the timing of his resignation and our love of for the likes of Isak, Odegaard, Zubi, Merino etc. But I wanted Campos when Edu quit because he has experience of different leagues. Campos also has experience of big budgets/club profiles. What I don't know who is going to make the appointment. Will it be Josh or will it be Garlick? I am not sure Garlick has the kudos to manage a Campos.
