I don't get this idea Sesko isn't ready now. He has 2 seasons in the Bundesliga behind him - double figures both times - and before that 2 full seasons in the Austrian top flight. He has played in an international tournament, 4 seasons in the Champions League.

Playing in a better league for a team not the best.

Gyokeres would score far less if he came to Arsenal than he has for Sporting, and you would expect Sesko to score at least the same but probably more for Arsenal compared to Leipzig.

If anything, you could argue Gyokeres has never played at the top level elite leagues whereas Sesko has 2 seasons there - so maybe Gyokeres isn't ready?

Our attack isn't really set up for a striker like Gyokeres, even though he would be my preferred choice.

Crossing the ball into the box via the wingers, reliance on set pieces just isn't set up for someone like Gyokeres.

Gyokeres has done better than Sesko in the CL, however I heard that Sesko wasn't playing in his preferred position

It was 6-4, but 2 of Gyokeres were from the spot.
Gyokeres goals were against Sturm Graz, Lille and Leipzig plus a 2 penalty + hatty vs City.
Sesko scored against Atletico, Juventus and Leipzig.
