Sesko makes it easier for Arteta dealing with Havertz. And that was the reason given to why Sesko didn't sign last season. Sesko now might want to get out of an underperforming Leipzig, but will he be happy competing with Havertz?

Sesko is more of a "sure thing" than Gyokeres. Gyokeres hasn't played in a top league yet. Sesko is scoring double figures for an "underperforming Leipzig".
Plus you will get twice as many years out of Sesko. That is more than worth a potential £30-£35* more than for Gyokeres.
