Slight improvement but it's another window where the emphasis has been on defensive players as opposed to attack.

Go for a Rodgers at Villa. Try a different type of MF player rather just replacing Partey with a clogger.

we have a hear we go for Noordgaard

Norgaard looks a sensible signing for a cheap squad player.
With Zubi, Rice, Ode starters and Havertz, Merino, Nwaneri, Norgaard - and of course the potential to play MLS in midfield - giving us good options.

Hopefully it will dead those rumours about the Sevilla/French DM. He is abysmal.

So who is Zubimendi's backup?

Plus it will stop Norgaard trying to break Martinelli's ankles.

I would have just preferred a different type of MF to the ones Arteta has been so obsessed with of late.

I thought Arteta might potentially move away from the rigid, systematic tactics he employs but based on the signings, it's effectively going to be the same next season.

Odegaard drifting to the right and Rice playing virtually as a left 8 winger.

That happened quickly. In isolation kinda boring but if we get the other stuff needed done then him and Kepa are decent signings
