No worse than us vs Man Utd. Hopefully we'll have the same resilience this season as them.

How so? We defended very well against Utd. Liverpool let in two goals from a team down to 10 men.

Liverpool should be worried letting Newcastle back in despite them being 10 man. The game at Anfield is a different story but teams will target Liverpool’s leaky defence.
Arteta will have to send Arsenal out to win.

You can never underestimate the influence of a poor referee at Anfield.
posted 2 weeks, 3 days ago
The referee factor, the Anfield crowd, a game against rival gives Liverpool the edge imo. But Arsenal have had enough experience to deal with the latter two to target Liverpool.

Arsenal match up well with Liverpool. Our defence is good to combat their attack and our disjointed attack, especially without Saka, could eke out a scrappy goal against an ageing defence. Saying that, it's more a matter of belief. We haven't lost to Liverpool for a very long time, but not beaten Liverpool at Anfield for longer. I'll take an Utd type performance and 1-0.

This was your view all last season wasnt in J99? Liverpool are weaker than the table suggests, look at the performances, and will start dropping points soon!
We do need to take inspiration from Newcastles performance though (From what I saw of it, was in and out). You really can get at them if you are fearless.

And they did in the second half of the season when you would expect Klopps coaching to fade. But we couldn't put any pressure on them with our injury issues. No one thought Liverpool were blowing teams away or even playing partulalry well. The best way to decribe it was Liverpool outlasted their opposition.

100% yeah. Can probably see it as well, early season game and both teams not quite found their rhytm yet. 2-2

We can win there.
