If Arsenal were truly worried about value they wouldn't have signed Eze and Madueke. They didn't buy Gyokeres cos he was "cheap", not even sure they bought him because he was the best option - they bought him because it was the easiest negotiation of the 2 options they had decided on.


If Sesko had signed when Gyokeres did, he would have more goals and been a better fit than Viktor. He already is only one goal behind Gyokeres despite playing significantly less game time for a far worse team. And the extra €20m over 4 or 5 years is nothing, with a far better sell on value given his age and profile in a top European league.
