He needs competition....he is relaxed sometimes and his judgment is very inconsistent...but im sure he will get better as the time goes on. It really depends on speed of his progress, otherwise the fans will start to get on his back.
Good morning gents. Good idea TBOK to put his again on the Arsenal board
Dailyfail reported that we will spend heavily on 4-5 new players in the summer. I do think we will.
I think we will see a massive changes in incoming and outgoings during the summer transfer window.
Simon Mignolet's agent, yesterday: "Our ambition is for Simon to play somewhere that he can engage in competition with Thibaut Courtois for the place in goal for Belgium.
"Courtois is fortunate that he is playing for a team that has been doing well lately."
Thoughts?
Just saying that Pete, or do you really think so?
..same could be said, more accurately, of Sczcesny...
Mignolet? Yes I like him. Good goalkeeper.
TBOK to be honest. Götze is a no go for us. Dortmund will sell Lewandowski to Bayern. There is no way for any other Dortmund player to leave the club. They sell Lewandowski only because Dortmund faces the same situation with him like we did with RVP. Last year on his contract.
Regarding Jovetic I am more optimistic if we will leave our 12M philosophy because we surely will have competition to get him.
I'm impressed that after all this time you still believe that we'll see a transfer window of investment at Arsenal, gt.
We must sign a new keeper this summer though.
Just looking at this weekend's fixtures.
Can't see Chelsea or Everton dropping points...
Lets be honest guys even if we strengthen the squad, the fact that our manager is tactically inflexible means we'll never ever fulfil our potential cos they are managers with enough tactical nous to exploit a teams weakness.
If we were to play Real Madrid tomorrow at the Bernabeu, Wenger would approach the game like he was playing West Ham & will at best play Ramsey @ RM/LM to offer a bit more defensive discipline and that's about it, and its frankly not good enough
Absolutely, TBOK.
A new striker/forward too.
Really hope we can get rid of some of the deadweight from the squad too.
Never give up any hope on my club which I have passion for, guys
My optimism about it comes from the latest results of our balance sheet and of course of the latest interviews Wenger gave. Read or hear between the lines and I come to this conclusion.
A new GK,DM and a striker! That's the strictly minimum for the summer!
It'll be the same as this season. Deadwood will be out on loan. We'll sign some decentish players that'll get the fans excited. Wenger will put this faith in Diaby, and thus no DM. Nearing the end of the season we'll sell Vermaelen and Sagna.
