Hildreth, Lyth, Barestow, , there's quite a few but all untested

Personally I would prefer to see a replacement at number three. For a new player it must be more comfortable to go in to bat with Pietersen, Bell , Morgan and Prior etc to come if you fail.
Interestingly will Tremlett return in place of Bresnan, who's bowled well and is a fairly good bat?

Doubt this'll happen.
One of Bopara, Hildreth or Taylor would probably be called up, although, hopefully, it won't be neccesary.

Bell at three and bring in Taylor.

I guess it's pretty certain that if Troot can't play Bell will remain at 3, especially on his home ground.
But with Bopara scoring a century this last, qeek,I'm fearful that he will come into the team.
Pietersen, Morgan and Bopara is not a middle order that fills me with confidence. However, bringing in an inexperienced newcomer is equally worrisome.

Hildreth is decent. Stokes only just back from injury. Patel would give a good second spin option.
