And Blackpool, Wolves should have too much quality, but time will tell.
I also think Wolves are too good to go down. I know it's a tired old cliche but I do think that squad has enough to ensure safety.
I said wolves
No one listens to me
Wolves haven't won any of their last 11 games, dropping from 13th to 22nd. gaining just 4 points. While this might seem familiar to Town fans, only 2 of Wolves' remaining games are against teams currently in the bottom 8.(one of these being against Town).
Meanwhile they are joint bottom of the form table, while Peterbro are 12th, Bristol City 11th, Barnsley are 2nd, Ipswich 17th, Town 15th and Wednesday 4th.
They are in deep poo poo I reckon, which is a shame because I quite like Wolves and was chuffed for them when they got up to the Premier League 4 years ago.
Wolves have only picked up 4 points from their last 10 games, so if they continue with the same form, they will end up rock bottom with 40 points, although I reckon they'll see a slight increase in form and end up with around 48 points, which will still see them relegated.
For what it's worth I reckon the final points tally will be:
Sheffield Wed - 65
Barnsley - 61
Birmingham - 60
Town - 55
Ipswich - 53
Blackpool - 53
Burnley - 52
Millwall - 52
Peterborough - 51
Charlton - 51
Bristol - 50
Wolves - 48
So it's going to be one of the most exiting finishes ever, with two clubs relegated having accumulated 50 points and over.
Btw. I've put loads of thought in to the above and have carefully studied all the teams form over their last 6 and 10 matches played. I've also taken into account their managers credentials, so surely I can't be wrong in my predictions, otherwise I'm f-cking done with my stats for ever - and that's a promise.
PS: I couldn't care two hoots which teams are promoted, although I reckon it will be Cardiff, Watford and Leicester.
65 points for Wednesday! You sure Mirf?
the "STATS" say it is so....
id rather bristol, posh and charlton/millwall go down..
wolves and barnsley are nearer...
you see i dont "hate" its all rational...
best 3 teams i have seen this season are leicester, watford and cardiff... so that looks about right..
be nice if coventry get back up and villa come down..been a while...
Wednesday are the in form team having picked up 25 points in their last 12 matches, winning 7, drawing 4 and losing only a single game. So, since they already have 40 points from their 33 games played, they have another 13 to go to win a further 25 points.
Don't forget, after the first 23 games they only had 21 points and their current run over the last 12 games, has seen them beat Hull, Bolton, Barnsley and Charlton on their own patches, plus Palace, Brighton & Brighton at Hillsborough.
So, I reckon 65 points is well within their grasp.
What was your predicition for Town v Barnsley Mirf ?
for me its
cardiff
watford
nottingham forest
wolves R
bristol city R
Peterborough R R R
Wolves v Watford tonight...C'mon Franco !! 0-3 this one
Look never mind what other teams at the bottem are doing . FFS it's what we do that counts as long as we do our bit we can't go down so forget wolves and the rest otherwise you'll crack up if you worrie about others . Let them worri about them selfs .
Goal difference will be and always is crucial.
It's not looking great for you lot.
Boro
Charlton
Leeds
Hull
Next four matches you could be in relegation zone
