Yeah maybe pep, but it was only a couple of years ago he was in the England team. Decent squad addition I reckon.
6 goals in 34 matches, 36 years old, and 'worth a punt'?
Not sure your vision of the future quite marries with Fawaz's.
Tudgay for me. Kd is past it. One cap. Ws that because no one else was available
plus he wouldn't make an impact should Forest go up.
No no no no no no and no.
There are much better and more suitable players out there. Would rather keep Tudgay truth be told
That'll be a no then hoons?!
And you may be right 666, his record is almost as bad as 7 in 37. Now who could that record belong to?
excuse me?
Why would we want a 36 year old?
no, no... errrr ..... no thanks

But both are better than 4 in 32. Who could that record belong to?
His age is irrelevant. If he's good enough to help us in this league then he's worth having in the squad. He's a better player than Henderson and has been very effective over the years. He's a nasty player (but so is Henderson) and defenders don't like playing against him. If he's past it then fair enough but I think he's still got something to offer. It really depends what sort of strikers Billy wants next season.
Try adding assists to your tally
Any player keeping Sharp out of the side must be doing something right
Any player who is part of a side that has won 6 out of the last 6 games must be doing something right.
Try adding assists to your tally

Why?
longeatonred pointed out 7 in 37 which is a goal scoring record. Which is still better than your more expensive product. Nothing to do with assists or how many games you have won in a row or any other factor you want to try and mix in to cover it up.
If your £2m super striker scores another 4 in his next 5 games then he will have the better record. It really is quite simple.
You're sounding quite simple Pablo.

He is part of a team that has
a) scored more than your bunch of no hopers
b) Let less in
c) Has more points on the board
d) Is higher in the league
Again webbo
Lets change the boundaries so its in your favour or change it totally if you like. You win i give in.
Has he got a worse scoring record than Connor Sammon?
On the facts discussed, poor old pablo is correct. And no - we should never sign davies.

Happy to take your word for that webbo having only ever seen him when you played against us, i am in no position to judge him on his all round game.

What facts? Sammon has more goals than Cox is a fact. Cox has more assists is a fact. Cox has won more games this season that Sammon is a fact. These are all facts being discussed.
Or can we only use one fact to try and win an argument? If I say Cox has more hair than Sammon and therefore he is a better player is that the end of it? I don't want to hear about other facts such as goals scored or assists etc. They are irrelevant!
Is the Fact that Fishy is just a slaphead that is crap sufficient? Or the fact that many sheep fans have no faith in him and think he's poor value for money another FACT or the one where all reds fans think Coxy is really good FACT.
Caniggia
One of your posters poked fun at Sammons scoring record. I was merely pointing out that you have a striker who's record is worse. This was the only thing i was referring to . A couple of you clearly didn't like this FACT so tried to throw other things in which were not relevant to what your poster started. So stillhate was correct in saying this was the fact being discussed and not what you were throwing in to try and detract from it.
Cant even be @rsed with pep. His lack of understanding the difference between opinion and fact is evident.
I get that Pablo and that is fair enough. I am more than happy to accept that Sammon has more goals, albeit in more games, than Cox. But I'm sure what Webbo and certainly I was trying to get across is that goals are not the only indicator of success, even for a striker. Cox should be scoring more goals for us, as should Blackstock. Sharp was scoring for fun but has barely played in the last two months. But our strikers do add other things and if we're winning I don't care who gets the goals. It's the same with Sammon I'm sure. He may not be a prolific striker (like K Davies) but if his strength and aerial prowess are creating goals for others then great. I'm not so sure that is the case with Sammon. That's what Blackstock and Henderson should do for us, but have not done until recently.
Anyway, no harm meant
