i still think chelsea will be better than city and give united a run. will it be enough to challenge for the title? i'm not so sure. depends who you bring in
United have let 6 reliable expierenced players go and brought in 1 (kind off) expierenced player and 2 youngsters.
Remember what happened to us when we tried a similar squad cutting exercise last season?
We need to be consistant which is what seperates us from Man Utd. Man City luckily are just as inconsistant as us and often play negative football instead of attacking which their team are more than capable of. I'd agree on all your recommendations for signings, Hazard and VDW would be my particular favourites.
base on current squad.no more sighning then chelsea have no chance to win EPL.
its gona be between manchester teams folow by chelsea & arsenal.simple as that.
We really need to make 2-3 quality signing if we want to compete, surely AVB, Roman and the board should know this by now
we all know eminem (U9304)
we need 3-4 new player to win epls.
i be happy with 2.
new RB and player who can play either as LW or RW.
The loss of Essien again is a big blow - that guy just has terrible luck with injuries.
As a United fan i am expecting the biggest threat to come from Chelsea, with City not too far behind. We have to bed in a new keeper, which could be a problem if he doesn't settle well, although pre-season indications suggest he is doing quite nicely.
we havent seen old essien for last 2 season so we not going to miss him.we won the epl 2 years ago without him and even with essien played last season 4 us he didnt turn up as we think he would. i got to say i was one of the few what wanted to sell him before the summer due to his constant injury problem. i am affraid but he will never recover from his problem and we never see the same essien from 2006-2008 season form.
LMAO
Why do people think we are so much worse than United it is laughable. United were carp last season, just not as bad as Chelsea. United have bought who? Both teams to be fair are in similar situations, and again unless Arsenal and City can become more consistent than its gonna be a 2 horse race again.
Gonna be the same top 4 its just who can get the best run.
5th, we sold Zhirkov.
Seriously though it all depends on form, we know that. If we put together a run of victories, get confidence and team play going, apply pressure at the top... Who knows, we could see the squad of two years ago.
Sounds unlikely though, it's a huge risk to gamble on that.
man united won the epl becouze others like chelsea or arsenal were joke in same stage of seaon.we gained onlu 10 point from 33 in our worst run of decade between nov-feb. that was the reason why man und won epl.not becouze und team were excelent.
