It's quite amazing how many supporters of other teams think that we didn't know Lukaku was only here for a year.
Or do they think it's news to us?
That was the whole point of the article. (Full stop)
As Holte and I said we have no argument with you, just have your fun

With Di matteo it was a bit different as you guys fired him, but granted you landed on your feet well with clark. Lukaku was maybe a bad example but un doubtedly with success, the big boys start sniffing around your players (and manager) so will be interesting to see how you guys cope with it.
villa are still the top team in the midlands... baggies having a decent season wont change that, order will be restored sooner or later. villa are a team in transition and it will take time after the mess we've had to face.. with oneills crappy signings, walking out on villa 4 days before start of a season, having 3 managers since , one being a tosspot, losing our captain to illness etc. this season will be valuable experience too for our inexperienced youngsters and they will only improve. plus more siginings will be brought in now the wage bill is getting back to normal after oneills crazy buys.. villa will have a squad to compete again. next season will be the start of villa getting back to where they belong
Depends how you define 'top' team?
Biggest.... No doubt about it Villa are.
Best.... The league table and recent results suggest otherwise.
When I say top team I mean one of the top 7. With rumors of moyes leaving everton, I could see that being an attractive club to clark (and many others), and than there's the question of how you replace 2 strikers (assuming odemwingie gets his wish and leaves).
Albion are having a decent season and have had for the past couple of years but their bubble will burst soon enough. They are not even the biggest team in the black country!
TBF I obviously hope the vile go down this year but I also hope that Blues get promoted next year and all three of us can be up their again, competing against each other at the top table!
What bubble is that bluenose?
Not even the biggest club in the Black Country? Maybe true.... But we are the best Fact.
Best team in the whole Midlands. Fact.
Funny banter with Wolves and Villa but when a Blues fan weighs in with his opinions on 'big clubs' and 'burst bubbles'....... You really have to laugh
Albion couldn't win a raffle let alone a trophy since the 70's!
Teams are already finding you out in the second half of the season and I can see you struggling big time next year.
A Bluenose giving it large on the 'trophy debate', really?
With success, comes envy.
Carrying West Midlands football, I've come to expect this!
Can't believe Villa fans class Blues as their main rival? Through out history Albion & Villa have been rivals. Blues with little or no history, just a team that developed a hooligan element that forced a big rivalry with Villa. Then again, I suppose it depends on where you live, I'm in Great Barr which is a split between Villa & Albion, but I suppose if you are from the other side of town then you would probably have a different opinion.
Albion couldn't win a raffle let alone a trophy since the 70's!
You could probably win Birmingham City in a raffle these days.
How is Carson?
Blues = WBA feeder club
WBA have had a good season baggy
Villa will stay up (hopefully) and with the policy of the club whether forced or not the future is bright
We need Blouse back in the prem with us, for whatever history there is, that is our derby

Carson is due up in court at the end of the month so I guess it will all come out in the wash then.
Our 2012 accounts are due out on the 12th and the club is being lined up for a sale by months end.
As for you carrying Midlands football we are the most succesful club this centry in the Midlands and that is a big load to carry
As for being your feeder club you have had two players off us, not exactly supplying your whole team but you have always had our players when we are done with them.

Boing boing... I assume that nickname is for all your yo-yo years?
Did any Villans give you shiiiite back then? No, cause we didn't care about you then and still don't!
2 swallows don't make a summer baggies don't forget, be careful on your way back down

Oh yeah, we can see you were done with Ben Foster and Liam Ridgewell, and you're done with Jack Butland as well.
Lucky for you you've still got Nikola Zigic on £50,000 a week and ex-con woman-beater Marlon King playing for you.
You assume very very wrong 12th man
And assumptions are? The mother of all...? Like Villa. A total 'F' up.
I don't care about Villa, Wolves, Blues, Walsall, Coventry, Halesowen Town, Bearwood FC etc etc etc...
But we are the best in the area. And that's a magic fact.
You don't care yet you started this thread? Yeah that makes sense!!!!
Your best ever season still pales in comparison to ours in recent times, dizzy heights for you guys though
Obviously it makes sense.
We own this region and it needs saying
We know what we are
We know what you are too
How is your small ground and pathetic away support oh huge club??????
Popular JH aren't you

Our small ground and pathetic away support is 10 places and 14 points above the mighty Villa.
We know what we are
For 2 whole seasons... Once the blip is over you will still have a tiny ground and terrible supporters whilst we will be back where we rightly belong and still taking 3000 away on a Monday night, unlike your lot... 500 wasn't it in your BEST EVER SEASON! Hahahahahaha
