I know what you're saying.

If Brazil can sort out their stadiums and tickets are distributed fairly and not just to the rich and corporates then I really think the atmosphere at the games will be electric, I really hope so anyway.

Yeah, it promises to be an amazing world cup.

Hope so anyway. The world cup is my favourite sporting competition bar none.

italy stand a decent chance aswell IMO they are the side outside of spain, germany and argentina i would pick, lot of really emerging talents el sharaawy, balotelli, de sciglio, insigne

Yeah, Mexican. I think Italy, Argentina or Spain will win it.

I'm not convinced by Italy.

In the Euros they only got through because of their victory against a weak Ireland side and fair enough, they beat Germany but were battered in the final.

They looked good but not great against England and if they get a tough draw early on I can't see them doing too well.

They played with ten men in the final.

And as Mexcan says, they've got some really good emerging talent and some fantastic experienced players.

My pick after Spain.

Messi might just win the world cup for the Argies.

Their front line is just ridiculous.

True, Stretty. That's why I think they've got a big chance.

Portugal may not qualify yet, but if they do they're an outside bet.

Almost, and perhaps should have, knocked out Spain and any team containing Ronaldo has a chance of winning trophies.

Sorry, didn't mean to call you Stretty.

I want Argentina to win if Australia and England don't simply to shut people up who reckon that Messi is 'nothing' without a World Cup win.

you want argentina to win wash your mouth out, and get out of my country

Good point, Rob.

I'm sort of an adopted Argentine as my father lives there. Wonderful country.

I'd love to go there.

I watched this amazing episode of Banged up Abroad where this British woman was a first time drug smuggler and got caught in Buenos Aires and she was released on bail but know she was gonna get put in jail there so she got like a million buses to the Brazilian border but obviously hadn't gotten a passport as they confiscated it so swam across this dangerous river into Brazil and somehow made it to Sao Paolo and got back to England.

Great escape!

That's ridiculous!
