In theory, the Derby and Millwall (Brum if its not too late) games should be the easiest to pick up points in as they have nothing to play for really. The Rovers players dont seem to have any grit though. I cant believe this is a topic of conversation. We should be looking down on our six fingered neighbours, but we are looking up at them. Something is not right.
Don't know what to think now, just feel numb from it all. We've been bottom of the form league for god knows how long, Bowyer has had no effect, and we only have 2 players who even look half decent. Wednesday were there for the taking and after going ahead and taking it by opening the scoring, we promptly sat back and let me them equalise. Lazy, passionless players aren't what you want in a relegation fight. We're definitely in trouble now.
Millwall are not safe yet. I think 55 points will be required but definitely more than the 52 they already have.
In theory nobody up to 9th is actually safe (Midds on 55 pts) but in reality I think the bottom 3 will come out of the bottom 9 as it stands now.
Bowyer has been summoned to India. I am starting to have some sympathy with your plight now. The Venky's seem just not to know what they are doing.
Utter lunacy, you have the week to prepare for perhaps your biggest game of the season (well, they all are really for you sadly) and then those intellegent chicken pluckers call you out to india to be summoned, why cant they come over...oh yeah sorry forgot, they are too chicken to show themselves, which is quite apt! Now Bowyer will no doubt lose 2 days of preparation & suffer the effects of jet lag and the players wont know how to go into the next game and what havee you.
It's such a sorry state of affairs for you, really hope you pull through it guys but hand on heart I dont think you'll make it, theres just so much discontent at board level and that has alienated the fans, players dont know what manager will lead them out from one day to the next...heck it wouldnt suprise me if they appointed Shebby Singh as manager upon their return, that really would be the cheery on the cake wuldnt it...the scary thing is, that really wouldnt suprise me if that happened
Nothing surprises me any more with the rum goings on at Ewood! Our Global advising(ex) hockey player knows more than we average fans!
