Ake - Good first half, got lost in the 2nd half. Should get more game time

Yossi - Good game

Yossi is decent. Never understand his criticism

Good solid player lacks a bit of place but he's good on the ball and passes well. Kind of a discount mata

I never really categorised players based on whether they had fringes or not, novel concept however

Good to hear that he's likely to get more game time on the basis of a solid performance.

I always thought he was a good player, but he's at an age where his skills are only going to go downhill, especially if he's not getting regular game time. For the salary we're paying him, I think we can afford a better player (or that money can be contributed to keeping Lamps for another season) who has more of a future with the team. Another potential criticism in giving Benayoun minutes has to do with the fact that we could be giving that game time to an up-and-coming player. But hey, he's useful in a squad role, and he's helping us advance in tournaments, so it's fine for the time being.

Fringes are often neglected, and undue attention is given to hairstyles, with the Sideshow Bobs (Luiz, Fellaini, Colocinni) often garnering the most plaudits for their fashion sense.

But I didn't mean "fringe" in a disparaging sense; it's simply that these guys are not first team regulars (nor really regulars as subs).

Hard to critisize Ferreira (after all he is,,,,, what, 40 years old ) but he did not contribute a great deal.
Offered nothing going forward and I think I saw Moses in the left back position more than him.

Davey,

I agree, he made Moses play too deep.
