Expected that from Robb...guess Melton wants some of the glory, trying to get in on the act...
So you support united as well as city?
hmmm
cheers
Cheers Melton, fair as ever

Don't be a cóck Smiles, a very well written article Melton and as I've told your other City counterparts I look forward to our CS in August!!
Greg he supports City but watches a few United games, so what? Did you know once upon a time both City and United fans went to Maine Road and Old Trafford to watch both teams?

Really, the last 40 odd articles have been the same thing.
Just because someone sugar coats it etc doesnt make it any better, and the op of this one confesses to supporting united and even going to games
Rvp
yes, did you know we shared the same stadium during the war because ours got bombed?
Doesn't mean I will go to the etihad as well as old Trafford, doesn't mean we have to be fans of each club.
city are s c um, united are not
"So you support united as well as city?

When I was young, I went to both. I support city but have no problem with United, I support manchester football over London for example. I know plenty of people like that, for a lot of people, banter can just be banter, you know...
Where did I say I supported United by the way?
typical melton post , thanks mate, best city supporter on here by a mile
Being the best City fan, is like stepping in the smallest pile of dogshìte!
You still have shìt on your shoe.
So melton, you attend wigan games too, and bolton etc seeing as you support Manchester football?
So you'd call a Manchester team scùm? Your basically insulting United here, they're both Manchester clubs. Liverpool are scùm, as are Leeds. Not a Manc team, wind your neck in
Greg,
how about being gracious in victory aswell as defeat.
melton has come on to congratulate us, not to be abused.
Fair comments Melton.
This is my take on one of the reasons why City have struggled a bit.
Barry and Milner.
Whilst they are both good solid pros, and will do well in your midfield against the also rans, they just are not top class players.
Both of them struggle for England and both of them struggle against the best sides in Europe, and the best sudes in the prem.
Good honest work will only get you so far. You also need the oomph factor.
Apart from Silva, City really don't have it unless Ya Ya is on one of his good days.
It's a question, he told me he isn't a united fan, he supports Manchester football.
I asked him so he attends Wigan and bolton games etc?
Melton is a closet united fan,
dunc, its all a bit boring to be honest, none of my city friends have congratulated me on supporting united....
People do it on these boards to suck up to other fans and get more 'board cred' cringeworthy.

This.
I'm not sure why I need to justify this Greg, but no, nowhere near as much as City and United ones. When I was young, my Grandad took me to see both up to the age of 12 as he always went to both. I then stopped going to United as much as I got a City season ticket in 92, that was the way I decided to go (me and my brother went City, our cousin went United). Nowadays, where I can, I take my son to both. He already is a City fan though, but likes seeing live football whenever he can.
I have always gone to a game to see either my side do well or to see a good game, I have no interest in making others feel bad about it. Football for me is not about getting one over anyone else, it is about doing well yourselves. I have a lot of family members that are united fans, if City don't do well, why wouldn't I want them to win instead? It doesn't mean I don't have banter with them, I absolutely do, but hatred or a wanting them to fail? Why would I want that, I'd rather the best players in the world play in Manchester and we have the best derbies we possibly can. If everyone in Manchester had your mindset for the last seventy years, the history of Manchester football would be very different to what it is, and certainly for the worst.
Of course there are fans on both sides of the divide that hate the other (in my experience, they tend to be younger), there are still fans that don't as well. I've got no problem with people being like that if they want to be, each to their own. I wasn't brought up like that though and I certainly don't want to be.
And to be a closet united fan, that would suggest I am hiding something or not saying te truth, I've said the same thing for four years, on this forum and the old 606. It is why I joined a multiteam forum in the first place. If I was purely interested in City or United, I would be on bluemoon or Redcafe.
