Na.

Glasgow's second team earned promotion fairly, so Glasgow's third team will just have to bide their time yet.

I don't think it's up to us.

They might be the only top six team we manage to take 12points from.

Ivan

For comedic value, they didn't really want to go so far down (despite what they'd want us to believe) now we'd force them back up...

As long as we get to decide which league they are to play in every year then I'd be ok with it.

Absolutely. I felt all along that the top brass were itching for change to end the old firm dominance and now that they have sampled 50 % of that change they now realize that keeping the sporting integrity folk happy was the wrong decision to make. It was and what ever way you look at it.

I'm not bothered either way, we're still gonna stroll the league for the next decade regardless of when they're back

Adidas..

End the old firm dominance?.. Eh, who won the Lafitte this year?

Oh yeah, one of the old firm.

And as the spl had voted against changing the voting system from 11-1, to 9-3.. When rangers are back, they adding with Celtic will still rule the roost when it comes to any changes.. The old firm still rule.

"..the wrong decision to make."

And what other decision could have been made?
Allow the newly registered TRFC into the top flight?
No, Adidas you are wrong-and the cost of keeping the game corruption free is never too high a price to pay.

The rangers issue would go away if perhaps there was a club that would throw a mill or two to challenge celtic in the league but we dont have that club therefore no edge.

What Rangers issue? The league seems to be doing fine.. 4 clubs challenging for Europe. The only one with an issue seems to be Rangers.

I can't disagree with that.

We wouldn't miss Rangers that much if Aberdeen had an oil billionaire behind them.

We would miss the four games, but we wouldn't miss them on a weekly basis.

Perhaps you lot could ask dermot desmond to part some of his billion pound fortune from his" offshore" account to maybe finance- create interest in the scottish game?????. But naw

Remind me Adi who was the last billionaire to invest in a Scottish Football club

Its the us and them mentality thats killing and influencing the death of our football.

posted on 23/4/13

Aye coz it'll much more interesting having a club propped up by millions of pounds until the billionaire gets bored and leaves then in a mire ala hearts, Livingston, Dundee or Gretna.

And there's no guarantee that money brings you success. Even if it did make Aberdeen or Dundee utd title challengers, the league would still suffer from the problem it always has.. No competitiveness, as it'd be back to a two horse race.
