Perhaps but Southampton would not let him go cheaply, would probably want similar type of money to Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain

Why would he want to go from Southampton to Hull?

I can see us signing him. He'd be first choice. The kid us absolutely class, whoever gets him will have a great player.

Highly doubt you'd get him Bale me out. You have BAE, Naughton and Fryers now as well. Plus Vert can play there too

He's coming to us. Chelsea fan as well

Avb hates Bae. Naughton is not very good and Fryers sounds like he isn't progressing. Vert is not a good lb, but a great cb.

We will definitely sign a left back in the summer. Really hope it is Shaw!

Anyone that wants him will be paying £15mill plus. Really hope.we keep him for at least another season. Theres been rumours that he'll sign a 5yr contract on 18th birthday in july.

Hope he stays at Southampton for the next few years before deciding to move.

A 17 year old playing first team football more or less week in week out in the Premier League is pretty much unheard of. He won't get that at any other club. He's far better off where he is for now.

Can't see us signing Baines. Levy doesn't sanction big money transfers on 28/9 year olds!

Shaw would be first choice at Spurs Hopefully Bale will tell him what a lovely place Tottenham is

I'll open up my point. If UNITED were to sign him THIS summer, he'd get limited chances because Evra has been brilliant this year. Obviously if this situation arised, and Saints took him back on loan and played him week in week out then great.

I mentioned Hull due to a few factors. (this isn't just related to Shaw but any Youngsters)

1) Bruce ex-United player, good relations, may look for loan players AND stick to playing them
2) Hull has been an unofficial feeder club for loans and sales for us recently
3) Hull's squad is average and will need major improvements to stay in the Premier League.

The Shaw situation is hypothetical, however I'm up for players such as:
. Nick Powell
. Angelo Henriquez
. Fabio
. Michael Keane
(and others)

Going there for Premier League experience.

Went to Spurs yesterday, gotta say he's an outstanding left back, he did very well against Walker, Lennon and then Bale (very unlucky with the goal, just ran out of steam)

At such a young age he's handling Premier League footbal well
