it seems that fergie, utd and his succesor have been in talks for a while.

i always got the impression that the job jose really wanted was the utd job, and i also think that if he did get it, this would be the club where he finally settles down and has a prolonged period in charge.

This would be very amusing, especially after hearing Chelsea fans sing his name non stop during the last few games.

I doubt Mourinho would settle anywhere for a long period of time. He has also stated in the past that he wants to manage Portugal eventually as well so I think even for us he would be short term.

Someone said recently on here that they thought Jose would come to United after stringing Chelsea along as an "up yours" to Roman.
