he's on too much money for us, decent keeper but its a no brainer to bring someone as capable, and on a third of the money, who's younger. allways thought cammy bell would be a good signing for us, good keeper, at 26 he could be our no 1 for years.

Neil's a good keeper, possibly better than Bell who looks like coming in. But his present wage is too high for our situation. Maybe a deal can be worked out, we'll see....

He's a good enough keeper and was a quality backup for McGregor, but the fact is he stayed because Rangers were paying him more than anyone else would at his age not because he was finally going to get his chance. Had he been 5 years younger he'd have bolted last year.

If he's willing to slash his wages then I see no problem keeping him on and having him battle Bell for no1 spot. But I reckon its adios for him.

If he takes a 90% wage cut then aye, he can stay.

If he doesn't he has my wishes that he finds a decent club to finish off his career, unlike his predecessor.
