Seriously.....?.....you think that is what Journalists do when they cant run a story? What about if it is from the Chairman for example who is known to have a bit of a thing for leaking stories?

How on earth can you return assets that are the core part of something publicly listed, the shareholders would be left holding shares in a shell company? Surely even the threat of such activity would require RNS notification? Surely the large share holders would be selling as we speak if there was a risk of getting totally burned?

Exactly Admin - it was never going to happen. Shares have been sold since this story was broken but to what extent im not sure.. The aim was to then agree some form of payoff to allow the assets to remain in situ - which was always the aim as Whyte had no wish to return to the helm at rangers for all the reasons that you can think of.

I actually believe that these documents are real...

White did want to return. He wanted to be seen as the saviour if rangers. He's said this so many times.
