Should never have been let go, much better value than what/who followed him. At the very least, a good bench warmer.
.
You know your a terrible team when your main target is Shefki Kuqi.

Everyone knows you know nothing about football when you list emile heskey as one of your favourite players :p
I seem to remember him ripping you to shreds a few years back?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjMLTGMf1Ig
Haha haha emile heskey is terrible!!! Isn't he your main target this summer?!?!?!
One of them.
We're also looking at Nicky Maynard, Kieran Westwood, Michael Owen, Yakubu and Kyle Naughton.
Heskey is a Leicester legend and he is still a unit.
Why do you think he plays in the Premier League?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjMLTGMf1Ig
You don't know your chasing owen, maynard or Westwood! You can't include players u have guessed :p shefki kuqi is also unit who has a fair bit of premier league football, I suppose if heskey is a target then he is no longer good enough to play in the premier league anymore!?!?!
We have been linked with them so I think I can include those players..
Heskey is a Leicester man.
Leicester man want to play in Leicester.
He no want to play for Aston Villa.
He want to repay his fans.
He want to come home
Do you understand, little one?
Leicester fans appear to be in some form of denial about the realities of paying wages etc. They have a manager who extorted millions out the FA and Man City so he isn't going to work for pea nuts. Now they want to sign players on premiership wages when their income only supports championship wages. I suspect Leicester's turnover is significantly less than Derby's.
So when the Portsmouth scenario comes round are they going to just blame the board and the various crooks who owned the club just like Portsmouth fans did.If Leicester want to look to how wealthy some of these far east "billionaires" are they should look at Birmingham and Blackburn. I may be wrong but I only see financial disaster for Leicester with their current owners.
Back to Kuqi, I think many Derby fans credit him too much for the good run we had when he was at Pride Park. He did work tirelessly and his nuisance value made space for Commons and Bueno but he never did much else.
Leicester's owners have invested into the right places first in the club.
They are not here to just sling money in unnecessary directions and they are actually Leicester fans.
They are doing things the right way and promotion would see our investment more than worth it.
We're just signing the top players of the Championship on small wages and those with Premiership experience on a slightly larger one.
If you look at all of the teams to have been promoted in the last 10 years, thats how you do it.
We also got linked with owen and bowyer etc however our targets are shackell, maguire, bryson, waghorn, eustace, Rooney because they have been confirmed!!! Shall we just agree that heskey is no longer good enough for the premier league anymore and that we
both hope for different reasons you sign that donkey :D at least we aren't LINKED with him!!!
shackell, maguire, bryson, waghorn, eustace, Rooney
---
I have only heard of two of them.
Eustace is a decent player and Waghorn is a blue :S
You have no idea do you haha ?!??! If you know the formula to get into the premier league so well, would u be interested in becmoing our new director of football :D
You have only heard of two of them coz u know nothing about football clearly :p
What do you mean 'I have no idea'?
Did you not watch teams like Newcastle, WBA, QPR and Reading when they have got promoted in this league?
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that out mate.
Newcastle didn't buy anyone. So
no top championship players. Readings team when
they stormed the league had very little if any premiership experience and their team was made up
mainly of players that were no names prior before they signed eg kitson, Doyle, sonko, harper, hunt. Qpr signed no premier league experience really if u look at their first 11? I'm failing to see your theory when matched with your examples :p clearly no knowledge!! Look at your 'super plan' and see how it doesn't fit!!
We're just signing the top players of the Championship on small wages and those with Premiership experience on a slightly larger one. This matches none of them
So the owners of Leicester are actually Leicester fans. I suspect they all had posters of Keith Weller on their bedroom wall when they were kids. Leicester's owners are as much Leicester fans as Derby's owners are Derby fans.
Newcastle, WBA, QPR all have different financial models. Only WBA appear to have a sensible financial model which has lead to them yo yoing over the pats few seasons. The owners to their credit didn't panic on relegation but adjusted their financial position according to their income.
If you didn't know shackell is barnsleys captain, bryson is Kilmarnocks captain, maguire is away with the Scotland squad and Rooney scored 23 goals in the league last season.

The guy who owns it is the son of a Thai multi-millionair who went to watch us at Wembley when he was a young lad and has followed us ever since.
Well tom glicks uncles milkmans sisters best mates cousins mum has a friend who once went to watch derby!!
Says who Andy? I bet he was shivering on cold nights at Filbert Street as well. If he had bought Coventry I bet he would have been at Wembley to watch them and been a fan ever since. Come on, Andy, just get real, It's what these new football club owners all say. Anyway we will see but I doubt the commitment and financial credibility of most of the new foreign owners in football.
No thanks, get the boy from Millwall
i liked shefki kuqi when he was here and he was important in the run of winning matches we had, that squad is no longer here so his impact on the team may be a less if he comes back.welcome though because i think he will add rather than detract from the team as a leader on the pitch
