If Rooney were to leave, which I really don't see, there is NO WAY ON EARTH that he will be playing in the PL next season
Rooney won't leave, he'll eventually sign a new contract and probably play in his preferred striker position more.
Heard reports Mourinho as an hard on for Rooney. Time will tell, I personally see him staying put.
i'd sell him and tell him to feck off.
if he was actually performing well instead of regressing, and if he actually kept himself in good condition instead of smoking and drinking, he may have an argument.
seen as he is doing none of that, he is in no position to try and dictate where and when he should be playing.
Damo we won't sell our best players to a rival
Rooney only had a thing with Fergie
Now that he's not the manager, it's a fresh start for all the players so he has no reason to leave
If we stop using Rooney as a John O'Shea type player then he wouldn't be unhappy.
Rooney has been covering for our poor mifield for some time, and last season even played in midfield. A striker shouldn't have to do that.
Not pleased about him handing in two requests but i can see his point, he gets played all over just because we haven't strengthened where it's obvious we need it.
HOWEVER with that said, if Monaco or PSG offered big bucks then i'd sell him, he's someone that could be replaced quite easily. And dare i say it (we could use money towards Ronaldo)

If it was a fee of 50 mill ala Torres I'm guessing it would be seriously considered.

I'm sure it would be, if somone was stupid enough to pay 50 million for Rooney Utd could easily lure Ronaldo back.
Bite hands off for that, no matter where Rooney went.
He's questioned the manager before and asked for another move, he's trying to dictate to the club, are united going to be told what to do by a player.
Mancblueloz - Rooney will need to back down in order to stay. If he does move not many Utd fans will be that upset.
Utd are far bigger than him.

shall we presume you want Valencia to feck off an' all then?
You can see the fans have lost patience with his attitude.
As a matter of interest what do you think Rooney could be realistically sold for?
Yes totally, he needs to grovel
I would have said said as RVP ^
And £40 plus if it was a PL club.

What do you think Rooney has told United to do, Loz.
On another note Loz, at least Wazza has kept playing during his sulk.
He didn't eff off on a three month golfing holiday.
Why is Moyes getting rid of all the backroom staff?
Logically are the Everton coaches better than the United ones?
He has only got rid of two SLM.

if he continues to perform at such a shítty level then yes.

I'm confused. I was in the States the last two weeks and was reading all were gone.
And the tweet in the OP:
David Ornstein @bbcsport_david 9m
Meulensteen has Wigan i/v next week. Moyes offered him #mufc stay in same role but rest of SAF staff leaving + wants managerial career
SLM
As far as I am aware, and I could be wrong myself, is that Phelan and the golakeeping coach are being replaced by Moysie.
Rene is choosing to leave of his own accord, by the look of it. Albert the kit man has retired.
This is pretty normal when a new manager comes in, he tends to bring in some of his own staff.
IMO we have needed a bit of a shake up. I don't think any of the backroom staff had the balls to tell SAF that a lot of his team selections were bizzare.
