I agree - having an opinion does not necessarily make you an idiot or mad. Pretending to debate it, ignoring rational responses, and imagining others does however.

I appreciate that the stick he gets might seem harsh but trust me he's more than capable of dishing a lot worse out, and has done.

A similar "debate" last year saw Chicken try to get me to leave this forum for something he imagined I said. Needless to say he was proven wrong and refused to accept it.

All that aside, in the spirit of 606 and us all being Spurs fans I have continued to humour him.

Chicken can post rational responses, I see rational responses from both sides of the argument that are often to quickly lost in the slanging match that quickly develops.

I'll give you that - he does occasionally make sense. However in this case we've had more than one new member sign up in order to try and get him to be reasonable.. he's lost it on several occasions recently because he's been overwhelmed with opinions and facts that conflict with his.

It's always a shame when it turns to arguing, and I appreciate what you're trying to do.. but I've been there before, as have many others.. he just don't like the guy. As a Spurs fan that kind of blind hatred for anyone involved in your club is hard to take.. especially from one of your own.

Your lot hated Rafa.. harsh, but then he had wummed you in the past and you were all still pining for Jose. We won nothing under our last manager, and AVB had done nothing to wind up Spurs fans.. I've given up trying to understand why he doesn't rate him, I don't think he knows.

JFDI, for the record, the nature of that debate was, there was an article placed on the boards saying Ginola had died in a skiing accident, it was a WUM article of which i had a go at the OP at the time. BalesLeftBoot on the other hand, thought the article was totally fine and even stuck up for the OP.

Same here. Thats why i call him a troll. He just trolls the boards, dishes out a few insults, and has absolutely no idea about or desire to debate about football.

My guess is he's about 5ft 2"....small man's syndrome and all that....

If certain Spurs posters would rather exchange posts with the trolls - thats fine - but thats not what i joined up for. Whether i'm right or wrong, its football all the way for me.
