He was another under intense scrutiny, but has responded with great character and skill. This has been his best England innings of the lot.
Still need around another 70 or so to edge into favourites territory.

I have watched so much cricket. all forms. Its fascinating to see how hard test cricket is.
Bell has saved England here and with that shift the momentum in Eng's favour.

Well lets Hope Bell stays in till lunch or maybe longer I think we will need a lead of 270 at least. Its going to be hard with the new ball only round the corner but I just hope after Bells hard work we don't collapse
another 50 from Bell and a few 20s and we'll be almost there with a decent total.
Anything around or over 250 for me and Australia have to bat very well to knock them off.
Some of our batsmen have a tendency to switch off when they return the following morning OT out, so get through the first half hour and set the game up into the afternoon.
Does anyone know what the weather is saying?
Showers but theres plenty of wind.. I doubt be much of an issue. 20 mins delay here and there. And tomorrow looks fine.

So there's no need to be clock watching here. If we still have wickets in hand you'd think they would bat to tea, perhaps. Think Australia will have to bowl England out quite quickly if they want to win this Test.
That's an 'if' though. About time Prior made a handy contribution in this series as well.
