The only thing I don't do is look or go anywhere near jobsites as that is instant dismisal apparantly.
Hi Chronic
How do you manage to get your work done? Is your work load quite light?
I worked in an accountancy firm a couple of years ago and was always so busy, there was no way I could have done my work and posted on 606

I do insurance claims
So the work I do allows me to use the internet all the time, small box hidden behind a few spreadsheets
In your face work
The only thing I don't do is look or go anywhere near jobsites as that is instant dismisal apparantly.

this.
I used to work for a phone/tablet manufacturer so I had to do a lot of testing on them. I had my own office with another guy, I just used to download films to the tablets and sit there and watch them while surfing JA606 on the laptop.
Bliss.
There has been times when I'm working on a case and I see something on here and laugh so hard out loud!

Lotus Notes? We used that at my previous job and it is truly awful.

I understand the rationale for Windoze envs (any effing thing in an opened email can bloody run) . But when you work on Unix envs etc, there is no threat.
Sometimes you can get round it by doing a round the houses route, because the urls aren't always uniformly constructed and recognised by blockers (login to Yahoo, access your email from your main account rather than directly via mail.yahoo.com etc) .

We actually have internet restrictions, so I do my best not to post on 606 too much.
Sometimes if I see an article I like, rather than reading all the comments on 606, I copy and paste them to a word document, before closing the browser

With the fecking stuff posted on Not606, I had to stop visiting that site at work. Very NSFW
