Like I said though I'm not a fan of the transfer request when he's been there 5 mins. Clearly a case of tapping up/his agent trying to milk him for all he's worth. Hope spurs don't go near him

Exactly. It's the season before the World Cup so he might want to think carefully where he goes to. Bench duty won't do his international prospects much good

Well , to be fair, nobody knows. But as we all know Jose loved Drogba, this guy has the potential to be just as good or even better. Guess time will tell.

I'm not saying this because I want him at spurs but if he goes to Chelsea then he will ruin his career. Infact why the hell would chelsea want him when they have Lakaku I do agree though that its a c untish thing to do and we hated modric for it but I support spurs, not villa ...... And if Benteke does come to spurs (I'm not saying he will) and it sorts out our strikers problems, i really couldn't give a fu ck if he handed a request in or not.

We have enquired about benteke. We were quoted 28 mill!

Now if we can negotiate it down then the deal is a gooer.

as I said previously spurs were well aware villa was joining athletico so there are other irons in the fire.

what I find amusing is that benteke is not that good. He has potential but there is a lot of imorovement needed.

28mill!!! Far far too much, something between 15-20 mill would be more reasonable. Do you know if the soldado links are true mate?
