Papiss Cisse Visited a Casino

I have read that you can meet someone of the opposite gender with the intentions of marraige and go on 'dates' (but not in the usual sense) to get to know them. But they have to be chaperone and no touching. I could be wrong though.

Also, usually the families have a say as it usually is seen as not just a union of the married couple but of the family as well (seems to be a mid-east/oriental thing).

Another point is "to avoid the road that leads to sin" - having a girlfriend puts or can put you in a situation where you will or might be tempted to fornicate. And Muslims should try to avoid putting ourselves in such positions.

I have no problem with him taking his stance on Wonga, but his other actions seem to show he is picking and choosing things that give a wrong impression. And considering the comments from people about Ribery and now Cisse we will be getting the "See they just pick and choose when it suits them." This will go against the pious Muslims who actually do stick to their beliefs.

Yes having a GF is prohibited no matter the situation. There are Muslims who do engage in this but it's prohibited and this will never change. People can twist it but any scholar will state the same thing. However, a Muslim whether female or Male does have a choice regarding who they marry. It's only in certain cultues where this may not be the case. But in Islam the person has the ultimate choice.

I think Cisse is using Islam as an excuse to get a move away from Newcastle!

Yep and that is a really sad thing.

Sticking some black guy wearing a hoody and dark clothing, sat on his own, from a picture so blurred it looked like they might as well of used a toaster, has got to be the most ridiculous attempt of evidence, ever! Clearly a smear attack by either Wonga or the incompetent twits running nufc.

If Cisse wanted to move, he could simply force it through, like Djemba Ba, and hand in a transfer request. It'd do his career good saving himself before Ashley has sunk his ship.

FFS I'd be a hypocrite if I would be using a rule in the religion to my advantage like he's doing, but I'm not. And I'm not being 'dark aged' or rude, the kid has been born out of wedlock. It's a fact not an insult

So half the modern world are illegitimate children then. Your condemnation of him, is itself hypocritical considering you are not sticking to all the rules of Islam yourself.

I never knew about the restrictions on dating!

This is why (amongst others) strict religious adherence cannot work in the modern world...

Though the other part of me thinks if you are not going to accept the rules as Gods work and thus infallible then what is the point in bothering at all?

Arab out of interest do you believe in the Islamic God?

Children no matter the circumstance are never illegitimate according to Islam. All children are considered innocent no matter the faith of their parents or the circumstance in which they were born

The rules do work. Marriage is a scared thing. I am not going to get into in detail. But the divorce rates in the Western world are high for a reason. Marriage in Islam is meant to be a marriage between families and persons. It does work for the majority of 1.5 billion people.

There is only one god mate.

Allah is Arabic for god.

Arabic Christians also call god Allah.

All the Abrahamic religions believe in the same God. In arabia, arab chirstians call God Allah swt as well. Same with Jews.

And just as a point, there is nothing in the Quran that won't allow you to live your life fully in the modern world, despite the disinformation spread around the world.

People are the problem because they can twist the purest ideology into something ugly.

Children can't be illegitimate no matter the circumstance, whether they are test tube or out of wedlock. Children are innocent beings without free will.

Just wanted to make sure my question was understood I wasn't implying that he (or others) believe in a few gods sitting up there (an Islamic one, a Christian one ect.) just trying to make the question foolproof....

Allah would have been a better name to use than Islamic God (though it essentially means the same thing If you assume I wasn't implying there are multiple gods)

I actually find the way you approach Islam with questions rather than a barrage of criticism quite refreshing for somebody thats a none muslim which is a surprise on ja606.

FYI your question did imply multiple gods.

Yup I'm Muslim, Parents are from Morocco. Almost time to close our fast!!!

Kung Fu don't get me wrong I don't think Islam forces people to be crazy killers that cut people's heads off or anything like that. I view it much the same as Christianity or Judaism...

The definitions seemed to imply that a child born out of wedlock was an illegitimate child. Of course no matter what anyone believes a child can be born out of wedlock so can be an illegitimate child if we accept that definition.

All of these religions are copy cat religions. Islam and Christianity are the prominent religions right now but their teachings and prophets are parallel with many religions thousands and thousands of years older than them.
