We'll never know. He's a goal scorer in this league and with the right motivation he's brilliant. He works incredibly hard and did more defending when I saw him against Millwall than the rest of the Forest defence. However, something happened when BD took over and either Sharp realised he wasn't wanted and decided to have a sulk, in which case we're best off without him. Or maybe he wasn't given a chance by Billy and therefore you could say it's a shame he isn't a Billy type player. Hopefully we can get better anyway.

I wonder if Forest are boxing clever and will make Southampton sweat and nip in with a bid near the end of the window when they will be keen to sell?

I really wanted us to sign Sharp but clearly it's not going to happen. Thing is though, doesn't anyone else find it odd that no-one else in the Championship really seems to be interested in him? Wages may be a problem of course but Donnie seem to be linked more than anyone else. Maybe that should tell us something.
