Whenever anybody ever talks about "Big Clubs" in The Championship, Forest and Leeds always get a mention, often Sheff Wed.

Nobody ever mentions Derby or Leicester though.

Potentially Leeds is by far the "biggest" club in the division but in the end it all comes down to a my dads bigger than yours argument. It is the club with the most points in May that counts.

Redknapp is hedging his bets in case his profligate spending doesn't bring the required results. After all why should a club over £100M in debt and with gates of less than 18,000 be able to even trade never mind pay the enormous wages they do.

Harry Redknapp has warned that QPR may struggle to compete with the likes of Leeds United, Derby County and Nottingham Forest next season.

Spart.. I agree to some point. Their parachute payment should be used to pay off that debt before they spend on new players. Unfair on all the others if they get a helping hand back to the prem.

The only people to lose out would be the fans if they didn't go up as they would end up like Pompey

Bushwacker

Still no mention of Leicester then.

All Redknapp is doing is covering his backside.

He mentions Burnley... as if they have had a lot of recent sucess. Rednapp is QPR manager because they pay him mega bucks. He don't give a toss and would leave by xmas if they are only mid-table

He didn't mention Derby was a big club either there!

He said: “Here everyone seems to think ‘Oh they’ll will get back up next year’ but then so do Derby County, so do Nottingham Forest – so do all these great clubs.

“There are a lot of big clubs in the league - bigger clubs than QPR,” said Redknapp. “Derby, Nottingham Forest, Leicester, Bolton, Blackburn

Trust this helps

Yeah but read my tweet at the top who did he say was the biggest?

Plus there are other big clubs in the league

Forest at the top
Then Sheff W and Dirty leeds below us

Then all the other one off clubs such as Derby, Leicester and QPR

Then yeovil and Barnsley e.t.c at the bottom

Hope this helps to clarify both our positions.

My honest opinion:-

A Clubs) Leeds

B Clubs) Sheff Weds, Derby, Forest, Leicester, Blackburn, Bolton, Brighton, Birmingham, Leicester, Reading, Charlton

C Clubs) Barnsley, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Burnley, Huddersfield, M'boro, Millwall, QPR, Watford, Wigan

D Clubs) Donny, Yeovil

And it all counts for f'all as both our clubs have proved over the last decade...

Marco,

Can't argue with most of that. Certainly Leeds are the biggest. I wouldn't put Birmingham, Reading or Charlton in the B category so shift them down and move Hudders up.

And shift Brighton down as they aren't a big club like Forest and Wednesday if you ask me

Caniggia, yes a few are arguable. For SIZE it's Leeds then Sheff Weds, then around a dozen or so are much of a muchness. I'm not denying Forest are more famous than all, maybe even Leeds, but being famous thanks to the great man doesn't make Forest bigger than the majority of the division.

SBD cares

There is fame and then there is infamy...

I'd like to think Forest are famous.

Ultimately who cares though? Our fame and history is pretty decent but ultimately pointless now. We will no doubt lose to Yeovil and Bournemouth this season. Our fame and history doesn't give us any divine right in this division.

These derby fans so desperate to be uttered in the same breath as Forest.
