france's draw has been so incredibly kind. they face the runner up of this group (nigeria or bosnia).
they wouldnt qualify in group a, b, d and g.
France are a weird one. They seem to do really well or really bad.
the opposition flatters them. they do really bad against real competition. they do good against bad teams on a bad day.
This is such a strange tournament for Messi. He's not playing very well at all but is joint top scorer.

Messi has played well today Darren, mainly because Nigeria are not really bothered about defending the big gap between midfield and defence.
He's been better today but by no means the level of the best players in the tournament, let alone the level he's capable of.
I suppose from Argentina's point of view that's good news because he's got room to get much better because judging by their first three games they're nowhere near winning the tournament.
Yeah, that Fernandez at cb looks suspect to say the least. Surprised even though he is full loony that Banega can't get in the squad. It can't be on form given Gago is in.
Argentina defence is shocking at times.
Better teams will exploit that.
However i doubt it will be the runner up from Group F.
Costa Rica vs Greece at a World Cup 2nd Round - never in a million years would anyone have seen that coming.
I like the dark horse of this tournament. I hope they have finally won over many admirers however doubt they will win the tournament .

That said, they've still got many gears to go through because they're much better than what they've shown thus far.
Really strange that the top half of the draw is mostly an All South American affair.
Brazil vs Chile & Colombia vs Uruguay in the 2nd round.
With the winners facing each other in the Quarters.
It's a shame it's worked out that way. I really hope Uruguay go out though, hate watching them.
I was rather enjoying Uruguay until i heard about "Jaws 3"
I had a feeling Uruguay would win but i hate it when its in controversial circumstances.
