That thought occurred to me.
Glad it did Darren. I can't believe there is an article on the Utd board about the quality of la liga because some people are trying to discredit Sanchez's goal record there because he was only scoring against pub teams. I have to say Darren, maybe I have an immature prejudice, but even in real life I can never get myself into a football discussion with Utd fans. The arrogance and inability to get into a debate without any childish wummery is just too much. I am not saying I don't like banter, trust me I do, but there's banter and there's arrogant nonsense!
Depends who you speak to. Many feel similarly about Arsenal and Liverpool fans. And in many cases it's correct.
The La Liga stuff that people are going on about is ballacks, though. But that's something that has been going on on 606 for years across all boards. I've been one of the most vocal in defence of La Liga (someone has to, the teams can't defend ).
Of all the major fan-bases in England on Ja606- I'd rate United or Chelsea as being the least annoying when it comes to putting across their point.
I know that is actually a joke but that is also one of the things people always say. Have you seen the defending in the premier league in the past 4-5 years? When Suarez destroys Norwich, it is because he is a genius. When Messi does the same to Osasuna, it is because it is a pub league.

Yeah prem defending isn't very good nowadays. As we've discussed before, defending doesn't seem to be at a good level.
When Luiz goes for £40m-£50m, whatever it was, you know defending has problems.

VC sounds like he wielding an axe everytime he posts a comment. Funny thing is, even if it's on the Utd board!!
Sometimes it's hilariously brutal.
But it does get annoying at times because he'll be deliberately obtuse to minor things just to be a diiick to someone.

Arsene Wenger is a chequebook manager. Whilst managers like Mourinho have to sell players in order to buy them, this guy is going out and spending crazy amounts on players. Wenger could learn from Mourinho's financial discipline.
