Exactly what I was thinking when I saw a Chelsea fan on another thread defend they were putting crosses into the box. I thought, not a good idea when your no.9 want the ball played in front of him. They really weren't playing to Eto'o's strengths.

I can't laugh as we are quite boring. However, we haven't spent millions on creative talent and make out our manager is the messiah.

Why on earth did they spend £30m on Willian?
They could have got a top class striker for that.
Man Utd aren't boring, nor was Moyes' Everton team in fairness. They do not focus on passing in smaller areas of the park- but they weren't really boring.

Henrik, most United fans find our football pretty boring nowadays. Reason for this is that our wingers haven't been up to much and Rooney is inconsistent.
When Rooney is on his game we play some good stuff, and invariably he'll make the rest of the team perform better, but this is a rarity nowadays despite what his stats say.
