good morning.
i am against all this pleading with players to stay because we love them and all that.
they dont love us back. if they really want to go then fans telling them how much they love them wont change anything.
i was totally against that embarassing "harry redknapp, we want you to stay" chant at newcastle at home when we won 5-0 just after he was linked with the england job. it sounded totally embarrassing, and quite homosexual.
we are a big, self respecting club, and grovelling at anyone to please stay with us is something i will never do.

I'd rather dress up as H from Steps and sing "Tragedy" than that song to be honest...
Good morning back.
I disagree with some of your comments there, I think gareth bale genuinely does love the club and it's supporters.
I was never that impressed with harry and always thought of him as a stopgap manager, so i was not one of the ones begging him to stay.
Gareth Bale however is a completely different kettle of fish, he is probably one of the best players ever to play for spurs.
It's hardly grovelling either it's just a bit of harmless fun.

hi
i disagree with you .
i think bale has great respect for the club and has built a rapport with the fans.. but he doesnt love us imo.
i may be wrong. he cant love us that much though or he would have signed a new deal

Hmmm maybe, but at the end of the day if someone offers you a payrise of several million pounds a year then you say YES.
When that much money is involved everything else goes out of the window.
i can categorically tell you now that if i was playing for spurs, and making 80k a week, i love spurs so much that i would turn down a move to real madrid earning 180k a week.
i wouldnt even think about it.
I take my hat off to you sir.
Chronic,
You've changed your tune, you was bored with football a couple of days ago and cant even be bothered to go to the Palace game.
