Huh? Chiellini is head and shoulders above the other two. Best CB in the world for me

In your opinion, I think Chiellini was better myself, and I think most people would agree
look if i had to pick one for my team id go with Giorgio but last season Barzagli was the stand out in the back 3 for me
I noticed when I was making the top 10 list, I listed defenders and their partners. I had Vidic/Ferdinand, Barzagli/Chillieni and Hummels/Subotic.
Compatibility in partnerships is huge, which is why its difficult to distinguish who's better than who individually. Some footballers are so good that they make their defensive partners even better than they are. I can't usually tell who can make who better but a couple years back, I felt like Carvalho made Terry look like a world beater.

He certainly looks better than Terry at missing drug tests.

He certainly did. Terry was even too slow to get in on that descrepancy.

I think Terry is great given the right partner. Thats why he worked so well with Rio and Carvalho. There are of course some defenders who work well with anyone, such as Stam, Rio (who even partnered Silvestre in central defence), and Nesta to name a few.
