Ahhhh.

This brings back memories. Another bunch of fresh faced students all excited to be looking at £50,000 of debt for a degree!

Thanks Tony Blair for reducing the number and also quality of graduates in the UK.

Good luck boys

Looks like the extortionate fees have not stopped students enrolling. Hopefully it will get rid of the stupid subjects like Filming, Business Studies and others

Uni - a wonderful place where girls from all over the world want to get drunk and pounded and do a bit of studying on the side.

I think i was away surfing in Devon when my results arrived at my house. My maw was far more eager to open them than i was to know my results.

Think i was drunk at the time too.

Just turned down my uni place to work for the company I've been at during my year off. No debt for me

"No debt for me...."

Just a life of drudgery, regret and missed oppotunity

(Just kidding, Uni is for losers)

Uni is overrated, these days.

No I've been a software tester and the company have offered to send me on courses to become a developer as a java programmer so I thought screw it I'll take the free education.

We should sign Uni! Which position does he play?

posted on 15/8/13

Please don't sign Uni Arsene! Lots of promise about him, but over the past few years he's been delivering less and less, and comes with an extremely high wage bill.

Goalkeeper as you have to accept you're not going to achieve any goals...

Sorry I'm one of those that have sl*g off Uni now...

Fair play Kelly, sounds like me ~25 years ago - although it was Fortran, not so much Java about then

To reach top levels of a company nowadays, uni is essential. 9 times out of 10, you will not be considered for high level roles without a degree.

Basically with a degree, you start halfway up the ladder as opposed to the bottom.

Would've hated living with Fortran thank god for Dennis Ritchie.

Dennis Ritichie > Steve Jobs

Depends what company, the one I'm at has a team of just 8 working on the product. Big companies, then certainly a degree is useful.
