Nope. I created an article outlining what is ruining this site. Funnily enough, the arduous stream of Liverpool & Arsenal articles cluttering up the football boards on a daily basis was mentioned.

Why not just create ONE thread and squabble like babies over £40,000,000.01p on there, instead of leaving neutrals like myself sifting through pages & pages to find something decent to read?

Is that too much to ask?

The Arsenal board has gone very very quiet, nothing like a good hammering to shut them up.

Well other neutrals and some Liverpool fans bored of tr drama seem to manage to sift through the articles without scattering the toys from the pram. Perhaps you could do the same?

Well of course. Don't have much choice do I? I'd just rather not.

The Bale & Rooney sagas are equally as annoying but they're nowhere near the volume of these Arsenal & Liverpool posts. Even decent articles get turned into slanging matches and get there 30 mins after the article has been published and its usually 100+ comments with "comment removed by article creator" written in red featuring heavily.

Maybe I'm just spoilt, as having so few fans means my own team discussions get one post per subject.

The excessive articles between the Liverpool & arsenal boards are in my opinion down to the incredibly arrogant attitude of the arsenal contingent who clearly see themselves as far superior to all others as was highlighted by the all knowing sustainable club nonsense which seems to have died a death now they realise the truth of it,a simple money making scam

I made a comment a few weeks ago that the Arsenal lot remind me of when the Mogwai were fed after midnight. They are a pain for the most part. I generally look at the author before opening anything by them. DJ does some good articles but anything by that RGK idiot doesn't even warrant a look. And their "WUMs" are either children or suffering serious mental deficiencies.

The Liverpool & Spurs banter is usually pretty funny and I enjoy some of the ribbing between City & United, but the Liverpool and Arsenal fans together causes chaos.

I do enjoy the PL boards for the most part but this window has been awful and I can't wait for it to end

I didn't for one minute think you would be unable to post on the Arsenal board. I didn't know you could be banned from a board, though I hardly find it surprising given this trolling drivel.

I am not aware of a forum handbook, I mean there probably is one, but I tend to apply common sense. I suppose forums are no different to a filing system - i.e. the content of a file is dictated by its given heading. Perhaps this application of common sense is the reason for my naivety in the prior paragraph?

There was no offense taken to the analogy, I said it was tenuous. That means it lacks credibility, substance or significance. I'm sure you now see that this is totally different to being offended. You imply I have actively sought out something I know I already know I am not interested in, that's not the case here. I suppose a relevant analogy would have been walking into a shoe shop to find only jackets on sale - as in I come to the Liverpool board (or shoe shop) because I expect to see articles on Liverpool (or pairs of shoes), not someone writing poems about Arsenal (or selling jackets). Therefore, I suppose you could say by commenting on this article I am expressing my disappointment to the shop keeper (or you as the OP) in regards to the the goods on offer (this article) in relation to the shop they are sold in (or the Liverpool board). See, I am merely the customer; it's the admins who are the police (or trading standards) and you already said they have shut down your North London branch (i.e. your current banning order on the Arsenal board)...

Just had a look at the hoops board SuperNovak, and your right. Pretty ridiculous! To be fair, Metro_1 is a decent poster - I think that is why I was so disapointed to see this from him/her and spat my dummy out. It was a "is there anyone left" moment...
