the extreme irony of all of this is that "Jinky" was popular with people on both sides because he wrote well balanced and fair minded stuff on here. There really was no need to colour that with a made up persona. We didn't need to know he was 70 year old guy and really the rest of it is just bizarre.

I am sure we have seen a number of double posters, who just like to try to reinforce their own views by echoing them.

Anyway, wont be so hard on him. messed up individual trying to find some friends and popularity. i feel sorry for him really. i had a family member who was prone to this sort of sympathy seeking. Does a lot of damage.

probably a good lesson on why these forums are and should be anonymous and stick to football

You can understand the guys that met him in real life being aggrieved. They looked the guy in the eye and gave him their condolences.

But the ones who never met him getting all wound up is pretty hilarious. In a way those people probably deserved to have the coont ripped out of them.

Hey guys I've got this uncle in Nigeria who needs a helping hand do you mind if we use your bank account.

Chu - lets be fair here , i think all and sundry ( bubble excluded) had vested some emotion into the death of Jinky .

It certainly made me think about my relationship with my old fella and how i would like to spend more time with him just incase anything should happen .

people who had lost close family members offered up their sympathys with the deepest regret because they thought Jungle was going through the hardest time possible ...one they had experienced.

It wasnt being gulliable to swallow the story , on the face of it it all seemed as genuine as you could get on here

Everyone has a right to feel aggrieved by this ,some having more reason than others

I find the whole thing funny but i wasnt one of the ones that had to re-live some hurt felt previously

CT Its entirely understandable that people were taken in by it if you take the story at face value. What I find hilarious is the indignation that was being offered up by some on here, guys who have never met the fella in real life.

I think most of their anger is because they feel like mugs not because they are disgusted by the whole ruse.

Donating money, sharing personal stories and the self satisfying pats on the back all for nothing really. Internet mourning almost as boak inducing as celebrity mourning.

Oh and before someone goes digging I offered my condolences and left it as that. Some just took things a lot further though can you really blame jungle when he had such an eager audience?

For what it's worth I not angry at Jungle at all.

Feel a bit sorry for him and I hope that what admin said about him getting some support is true
