cleverley

i'm glad that a lot of united fans are starting to see what he brings to the side (or lack of)

nani i don't think is a failure, there was a good 2 years or so he was tearing it apart on the wings

i still remember this, this was in his prime

Cleverely is a useful player, can move the ball about and can link the play, but I dunno, dunno if he has the ability to take it further than a "useful player". Same with Welbeck now

Think Fergie's transfers are better than 1 hit for 1 miss. Nani's a decent enough player, but needs a lot of loving. Anderson... Could've been great but never looked after himself

I don't think Nani's a bad buy at that amount tbh. The other three, fair enough, but Anderson did come with a lot of hype and potential.

I don't think you can write off a manager as successful as Fergie by bringing up 5-6 bad transfers. Even if we do accept him being poor in the transfer market, that just elevates how good a manager he was - because he was able to win trophy after trophy with flops.

I dont think the United side of 10/11 was better than the arsenal side of 10/11 or even last season i thought player for player it was pretty equal.

just that united had a winners in their squad

"your lads don't deserve to be on the same pitch as my lads" Damned United

I dunno, I just can't see a midfield of

Beckham--Keane--Scholes--Giggs

Being bettered for a hell of a long time. Fergie's team dominated for two decades (and potentially going).

Scholesy had a hell of a shot on him, and was the best English passer of his generation/
Keane - Captain, aggression, and he could actually play, easy, lazy stereotype to see him just as a destroyer.
Giggs - Consistently one of the best (if not the best) LW for about 15 years.
Beckham - The best crosser ever seen in the PL, and set pieces of course - The fact that he's the weak link of the 4 shows how good the midfield is

I would do Lubo but tbf I don't really know the Revie players

I think arsenal and chelsea have the best midfield in england atm

Flamini < Ramires
Ramsey > Lampard (now obviously not at peak)
Walcott < Willian/Schurrle
Ozil > Oscar/Mata
Cazorla > Hazard IMO

Flamini < Yaya
Ramsey = Fernandinho
Walcott < Navas
Ozil > Silva
Cazorla > Nasri

Yaya > Ramires
Fernandinho > Lampard (Now not peak)
Navas < Willian/Schurrle
Silva < Mata/Oscar (If oscar then silva wins)
Nasri < Hazard
