I think we should continue to play the 4-2-3-1 formation which incidentally is being used by a lot of top clubs, the 4-3-3 frenzy seems to be reaching its end.
As much as I would like a replacement, it will be hard to find one good enough on loan, why would we want a player who another club doesn't deem good enough? (unless you're talking top 10 prem).
If a replacement isn't brought in i'd go:
Lihaj Hobbs Wilson Jara
Cohen Lansbury
add
Reid Majewski Abdoun
Henderson
that is a very good first 11.
I would play Cohen in that role and either Jara or Harding at LB. Still think Billy will get in a DM in loan window which he wanted a Marshall in there before Pep left. Pep was a risk of losing his place anyway and I think we'll see some new faces come the next match anyway.
Hmm, can't help thinking people have some rose tinted glasses on.
We need a replacement for Gueds and letting him go without one would be criminal. He wasn't at his best there which in itself is an issue but now, let's say Cohen does move there, that's made us weaker at left back and in the holding mid role.
Good thinking Davies, wonder where that was in his little tactics and management booklets he supposedly produces every week?
Get a replacement in and all is forgiven.
