don't waste time queuing for the empire...pay the money and jump the queue
don't forget Brooklyn,queens,harlem etc
Went once in August 2001. Stayed in a hotel in between the twin towers. Thank feck I wasn't there a month later.

Amazing city just come back from there, expensive really expensive but amazing non the less.
Go the top of the rockerfeller centre that way you can see Central Park an the Empire State Building.
The museums are brilliant and more bars an clubs than you can shake a stick at.
New York pizza is awesome, marrielas next to a bar called rumours next to Hell's Kitchen is my favourite, easy to find, http://www.rumoursbar.com/
So many things to do but try to plan your days, prioritise the big things an book in advance where possible.
