A true game of the people and by the people......most Gaelic football players and hurlers of intercounty status easily match up to premiership footballers in terms of both fitness and skill and in terms of intensity and passion for their games they leave premiership footballers trailing in their wake!!!!!.....none of them get paid a single penny and the money generated from gate reciepts sponsorship etc is virtually all ploughed into developing facilities for local communities to ensure community cohesion, fit healthy young adults and skilled young players for the future to keep the cycle intact......the game shown above alone generated 2.5 million euros and the replay will do the same........as a liverpool fan I have long admired Steven Gerrard....but I daresay that if he was asked to donate just 20% of his take home salary to improve the lives of the underpriveleged children of liverpool he would cry bloody tears !!!!.......you ask WTF hurling is(or indeed Gaelic football)???....thats what hurling is....now what do yose think of that????
What a load of absolute nonsense. GAA players are as fit and skillful as professional footballers. Wind your neck in.
Unfounded tripe and as for the rest of it? Well...see a doctor.
of course your right......in spite of the fact that I have played both soccer at professional level and gaelic football at intercounty level so who would I be to judge?
Irrespective the title of the article deals with the parallel between the psychology of gaelic sports and shankleys philiosophy so you have missed the point via your unconscious raging
As for the doctor thing......lol.......ive said enough......besides only an idiot argues with an idiot!!!
Nobody can be the new Shankly. I don't care who they are or their success. It grinds my teeth that BR is even compared to him.
