Holyfield. Without breaking sweat.

Agree with dj, I like haye but Holyfield was different class, this article is a non starter.

It would be like Hatton v Manny or Floyd. Holyfield at his best was a class above Haye.

Behave yourself DJ. Holyfield wins but Haye would push him. Lesser fighters than Haye gave Holyfield hell.

Also Holyfield isn't Mayweather or even close and Haye isn't a face first fighting boxer like Hatton.

Michael Moorer beat Holyfield. Haye is better than Moorer so it isn't shockable to think Haye can win.

Tyson (prime) vs W.Klitschko

posted on 16/9/13

Tyson would win. Has the perfect style to beat both Klitschko's. Would get inside and knock both of them out.

Haye would have a punchers chance against most great fighters, haye got schooled in the fight he won the cruiser belt, just got a 'hayemaker' off at the last minute. The real deal was far too slick in his prime and was never knocked out at his peak, haye would struggle big time. The best comparison u could have used dj would probably be froch v ward

You haven't got a facking clue. Log out you idiot. He was winning the fight before he got the stoppage against Mormeck you clown. Holyfield was knocked out by Riddick Bowe in his prime you mug. Again Haye is elusive and has great head movement. Nothing like Froch or Ward.

Hatton^

Holyfield got knocked down but got up to finish the fight, I clearly said knocked out, haye was getting best up in the last couple of rounds and was behind on two scorecards assuming mormeck won the last round. Ward is slick and doesn't get hit, similar to Holyfield who would have avoided a haymaker all day long. You really are an idiot but nice try

Beat not best

I'm still very unconvinced by Haye.... needs proper quality opposition (probably out of America) to give him a test.

So far only quality he has come up against, he lost convincingly (Klitchko bros). And then used some weak excuses to b itch about it. Broken foot

Nope you clown he got knocked the fack out. Haye was winning the fight clearly and wasn't behind on the scorecards you idiot. You said Mormeck schooled Haye.

Ward is nothing like Holyfield you mug. Holyfield isn't a defensive genius like a Ward or Mayweather. Haye can land his punches on Holyfield. So yeah you muppet you have just be owned again.

Bar the Klitschko's there is no one else out there. Mormeck is a quality win. Vitali wants no part of Haye for a reason because he knows Haye sparks him.

Sorry wrong again, I was referring to Holyfield in his peak - like the title requested, not in 95 in his third fight with bowe when he was clearly on the wane. I was referring to the first two fights. Mormeck knocked haye down in the fourth of a seven round contest, so he can't have been winning that 'clearly' and if you think Holyfield didn't have a good defence it says everything about your boxing knowledge. Served

He was still in his prime you idiot back then. He had a career defining win over Tyson after that KO which is considered his best win you blithering idiot. Knocked him down but Haye was winning. Holyfied defence is good I never said it wasn't but he can be hit as his previous fights have shown. You claimed Mormeck was schooling Haye that stupid comment there shows your not in any position to question anyones boxing knowledge. Now run along you t urd and dont comeback till you learn a little bit off the sweet science you mug.

posted on 16/9/13

Nah wrong again, Tyson was finished by then as well, fair play as Holyfield was coming back from retirement but Tyson wasn't the same fighter and neither was holyfield. Again read the title of the article. your boring me now.

posted on 16/9/13

Yesss he had a second wind and some may call it a career defining win, but was he at his peak, hardly.

Get to bed, I'll teach u sum more tomorrow, good lad

Haha you haven't got a facking clue. Mormeck schooling Haye.

Run along you mug.

You know fack all boxing. Owned you on everything. You didn't even know Holyfield got KOd by Bowe.

posted on 16/9/13

Yes I did, not in his peak tho. 'haye was clearly ahead' no he wasn't. Before haye landed his ko, could you guarantee he had done enough to take the belt off the champion, especially one who had knocked him down in the fourth and was looking in control?

posted on 16/9/13

He wasn't looking in control you complete and utter clown. Haye was the one in control and the knockout was coming. You could see that. You claimed Mormeck schooled him.

And yes Haye was clearly winning the fight before the stoppage. You're a complete buffon that knows nothing about boxing. Was his peak whether you want to admit it or not.

Haye got lucky in that fight, padded his record by fighting a load of bums at heavyweight then lost against his first decent opponenent
