this takes time, performances and consistency to build and can be lost a bit easily too. It is very helpful though as it mentally damages the opponents and inspires team players.

We do need to win lots of games before we start bothering about it.

Based on Jose´s very recent comments I would say yes it has.

All in all I agree with what the OP is saying. We are moving one step backwards, with the hopes of building a team, a way of play that will take us 4 steps forward.

Don't think Bringing Mata back into this team currently will have nay affect. Bringing Mata back and going back to the way we played last season will only be a short term fix.
