Passports?

Listened to your game and have to say Albion were magnificent and could have scored five

Nice one UH...

I mentioned a few weeks ago about this years Prem being the hardest ever.
The 'big boys' are seeing the rest catch up.

I guess this is the cráp we have to put up with when WBA win because a few of ours haven't got the sense to let it lie whilst we are 2 divisions below them.

For what its worth tidy, i couldn't give a monkeys

I take it that you are only interested in Div 3 football then Cinci?

The rest don't exist, eh?

Theres me thinking you were aiming for the Prem?...

posted on 28/9/13

im interested in wolves tidy, not a club making up the numbers in the prem who i have no afiliation too.

But what about Southampton?

Hometown club, nice people, smashing ex-manager in Pardew etc....

Have to say there was a few fans giving me strange looks as I came out of molineux today and gave a big cheer for the Albion result. I don't really care about our syrupy neighbours but all football fans should enjoy mange ure getting beaten, especially at home by a 'small' club.

Syrupy should read streptococcal. Or stripy. Predictive text...

When we beat them 2-1 there were Albion fans congratulating us on 12Yards and elsewhere.

what about southampton?

The point is WBA are indentical to Norwich, Hull, West Ham, Saints, Newcastle, Sunderland, Villa, Stoke, Fulham, Swansea among others, playing to make up the numbers and claim a good season every now and then by finishing top half.
Who cares or remembers those teams a year later?
They all fall back into the ''might struggle this year'' category.

posted on 28/9/13

I have no afiliation to 91 league clubs, Cinci but I still check out the scores.

posted on 28/9/13

Yes which is the category we are aiming to struggle and fight our way up to cinci.

It is also the band of teams Liverpool have been in for alot of recent years and the one Man United may soon find itself in with any luck.

Not good for Moyes. When other big name teams have had the humiliation of losing to WBA, their manager has been sacked.

Bit like Wolves losing to Luton, and SS getting the chop.

Jesus Cinci.....

That doesn't leave many not 'making up the numbers'.

I'm assuming in your eyes the prem consists of about 5 clubs?

posted on 28/9/13

I know that GB, but im a wolves fan, i care about how wolves get on, not some nothing club.

maybe i have been away to long, as i honestly dont even care about footy much anymore if it doenst involve Wolves, predominantly its a load of shíte hyped up by sky, the overall level of the prem is on the way down for me.

posted on 28/9/13

the prem consists of 6 clubs tidy, have you not caught that yet?
If one of them does not finish in the top six its not because someone was better, its because one of them had a bad season......thats how the press and pundits see it, hence they get a majority of the tv coverage.

Agree about United - they remind me of the great West Indian side of the 80's and Australia more recently. Far too great a loss of a golden generation all at the same time.

That defence has looked creaky for some time, Fellaini is not the answer in midfield (star signing) and wholly dependent on RVP or Rooney doing something special out of nowhere.

This defeat will convince sides to go after the team on the pitch instead of cowering from a team that no longer is.

The Emperor lost his clothes the day Fergie walked.

I think the reality is that united regressed last year, but such was the poor quality of the top teams they got away with it.

The bitterness

Immense

Agreed on that.

My point was that the 'also rans' are closing the gap.

Today was a prime example. A few years ago Utd could have put out their 3rd team and still beat the Albion (as happened often enough).
Moyes took the pee today and Utd were outplayed at OT by a very good Baggies team that went to play football.

Vydra
Brunt
Long
Gera
Reid
Anelka
Sinclair
Thorne
Morrison

All injured for the baggies today.

Still got the job done.

Probably the best time for any club to play United was today, after their shocking result last week. UH is right with the "emperor's new clothes" analogy.

posted on 28/9/13

the lesser sides have closed the gap because of the poor quality tidy.
The ammount of money spent by Chelsea and Man City is obscene, are the even improved???

Football is fast turning into a mess, poor world cups, no homegrown talent.........its about the next money earner and nothing else
