Moyes. The gift that keeps on giving

Still can't believe the luck of all the other teams that they appointed him at all.

People will stay its still early etc etc but so far he has looked completely out of his depth. Shambles in the transfer window massively overpaying for a lanky wig and now all but conceding the title after 6 games (no team since 1949-50 have lost 3 of the first 6 and still won the title).

Despite all the noise about how Man Utd give their managers time, he will do well to last until Xmas if they are not in the top 4.

As he has only been in charge for six league games don't you think it's just a little early to say he is no good. The other two games, league cup and champions league were both won. Not many United fans expect much this season, or too much next, but then we hope to see real improvements and trophies.

Similar to Liverpool really. BR is in has second season and you want to see a top four finish.

You will say DM had a top team, but SAF was a genius and it will take a while to follow him.

United will never be the same again under Moyes.

Both points are true, Fergie got more out of those players than he most believed possible but you've still got a good set there.

Haven't watched the game but it sounded like Utd just lacked fight today. Ironically the one player who is showing fight is the one we all expected to leave -Rooney. Moyes has him firing again and he must take credit for that.

As Liverpool found out 20 odd years ago, when teams stop fearing to play you things get much harder. They feared Fergie but Moyes? I doubt it.

Always nice to be able to see the future Iago.

Don't think any United fans expect him, or anyone else to be as good as SAF.

Maybe he will be better than BR though, who knows?

Oh, you do of course.

I said United will never be the same under Moyes....did I say BR would be better than Moyes? No.

Funny how when people used to point out that Man Utd's squad wasn't that good under Fergie, they always claimed otherwise.

Now somebody else is manager and not doing so well, so far, suddenly they are all over the limitations in their squad.

This mid-table manager had 2 top 7 finishes in the last 2 seasons - ahead of Liverpool and on about half your budget. Wouldn't know why you're mocking him when you have Rodgers who is certainly not better than him. The guy has a whole season to settle and prove himself.

He's only a cap away from being Tony Pelis but if you are happy with that Man U fans who am I to disagree

Oh and it's top 7 finishes now is it. Enjoy so!

Are Everton supposed to be competing for the league? The fact is they finished above you consecutively on a shoe string budget. It's an achievement that deserves respectful acknowledgement and your denigration of it is ignorant.

Not ignorant, factual. Keep clutching at those excuses straws muppet. Gollum will be your Souness

posted on 28/9/13

What is factual? That Everton finished above you and were punching above their weight for years under Moyes? For your info, I'm no United fan and I probably hate Man U more than I do any team. Just find your ramblings to be rather ignorant and juvenile.

Sheriff when you reduce the argument to name calling you've proved me right. Jog on

Yeah, I guess calling me a "muppet" is worse than my calling your opinions ignorant. You are certainly right in your own head. Certainly not to those seeing clearly.

Because in 12 years, the has never won at Anfield He's had way more experience than Rodgers and only just about managed to pull something out of the bag in the last 2 seasons, woop de woo. Oh and add that to the fact that he's got argyrophobia and you can see why we mock the man they call GOLLUM.

Who cares what his record at Anfield is. All that matters is the end of season result. He hasn't only pulled out something in the past 2 seasons. He took Everton from regular relegation battlers and has established them over the years as an upper mid-table team. He worked with the limits of what his budget provided and he's finished above you thrice in the past 3 seasons. He also evolved the style of the club from a bunch of cloggers to more refined ball players in recent seasons. He did a great job at Everton. I don't know why many of your fans persist in the denial that he didn't. It's getting absurd.

^^^^^^
I meant finished above you twice in the last 2 seasons. It's also thrice in the last 9 years. An achievement he has no right to considering the vast disparity of your budgets.

you asked why we mocked him, that's one of the reasons, so him never winning at anfield (and keeping up the tradition) has everything to do with that
